CHAIR: Niall Boyce, EDITOR OF THE LANCET PSYCHIATRY

Dr Niall Boyce joined The Lancet as a Senior Editor in 2010, and is founding Editor of The Lancet Psychiatry. Niall trained in medicine at Oxford University and subsequently on the University College London psychiatry rotation. His interests include suicide research, trauma, old age psychiatry, and social and transcultural aspects of mental health.


Helen Barker, Richmond Fellowship

Helen is a Post Graduate in Health Psychology (MSc at University College London), with a passion for mental health awareness and improving care experience. She has lived experience of Bipolar and PTSD, and the impact this has on work life. Helen is an expert by experience and is part of the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute Research Community, as well as having spoken at a 2019 report launch about her experiences.


Heather Bolton, Unmind

Dr Heather Bolton is a clinical psychologist and BABCP-accredited cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapist. She is Head of Psychology at Unmind, a company aiming to help employees around the world proactively manage their mental wellbeing, through a digital platform. She’s responsible for making sure everything on the platform is clinically sound and evidence-based, so that it’s impactful, effective and genuinely improves people’s lives. Before joining Unmind, Heather worked in the NHS for around ten years. Most of this time was spent within an IAPT service, working with patients with depression and anxiety disorders.

Heather Kelly is the founder of Aura Wellbeing, a consultancy providing workplace wellness strategy, coaching and training services to employers. She’s also Content Director for Make a Difference Summit US and Online Editor for Make a Difference News — focused on workplace culture, mental health & wellbeing. She led the development and operation of the Workplace Wellbeing Index during her time working for the UK mental health charity, Mind. Heather’s passions include: inspiring more empathy and awareness in society toward normalising mental health; running; swimming in the sea and honing her skills as an experimental chef for recipes promoting healthy minds.
