Jenny was Chief Executive of the Mental Health Foundation from 2013 to 2017 and is establishing a consultancy to promote Thriving Minds. She is an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty for Public Health and chaired the National Expert Reference Group on Acute Mental Health Care for Adults. She is a member of the National Institute for Health Research Challenge Panel which looks at Digital Innovation and also a member of the Mindfulness Initiative National Advisory Panel. She is a trustee of various charities in the fields of mental health and learning disabilities.
She was awarded a CBE in 2011. Previously she led the body representing homelessness charities and the organisation advocating on behalf of all the arts. In her spare time she is active in virtual environments, where she has led various creative initiatives.
