Dexter Penn

Since qualifying as a Medical Doctor in 2010 Dexter has worked in Elderly Care and Neurology in various hospitals in London and overseas. Dexter is a Clinical Research Fellow at the UCL Dementia Research Centre where he works on Alzheimer's disease clinical trials.

Dexter also founded the award winning fintech platform, Kalgera, which provides safeguards for vulnerable adults, after one of his patients was financially abused and scammed out of his care home funding. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Research Methods from UCL and is interested in the relationship between mental capacity and financial vulnerability. Dexter is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and is an NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow. Dexter also serves as member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Longevity.
